            Booking a dove release can either be done by:

 

• To arrange services with Go Doves, please call (408) 622-9944 or conveniently book online at any time using the following page for Funerals, Memorials, Weddings, or Special Events

• If you are booking directly with GoDoves, our team will collaborate closely with you or your appointed representative to ensure a flawless dove release for your ceremony.

• Services may be requested online without immediate payment. Once availability is confirmed, a deposit will be required to secure your reservation.

Pricing, Limitations, and Service Areas​

Services can be reserved online with no upfront payment required. After you submit your reservation, a representative will contact you within 24 hours to confirm availability. Please note that an additional fee may apply for service locations outside of our primary Zone A service area. These fees are outlined for Zones B, C, D, and E within the basic 12-dove package.

There is a $75 surcharge for last-minute, same-day reservations.

​

Release Limitations

 

             A professional handler, properly dressed for the occasion, is necessary to supervise the release and ensure a safe, well-coordinated event.

​​

• birds will not be released any later than 90 minutes before sunset time, depending on the service distance.  

• In extreme adverse weather conditions:

• thunderstorms, heavy fog, rain, strong winds, or excess heat (88 degrees or greater).

• Doves will not be released indoors or too late in the day for them to return home safely before dark.

​

GoDoves reserves the right to cancel any release.  In such cases, a 100% refund will be issued.  Also, GoDoves does not ship doves for self-release and Doves are only flown from distances for which they are conditioned.

Cancellations

             Cancellations may be made up to seven (7) days before any wedding, funeral, memorial, or special event without penalty. Cancellations made within seven (7) days before such events will result in a 30% cancellation fee for scheduled releases and any additional travel surcharges.  Cancellations within 3 days of the event/service will result in a 50% penalty of all fees paid.

Re-scheduling

​

Prior to a week before the event, a previously scheduled reservation may be rescheduled to an alternate available date and/or time at no charge. 48 hours prior to the event, releases may be re-scheduled for an additional cancellation/re-booking fee of $100.00.  GoDoves Professional White Dove Release will waive this fee if able to re-book your originally scheduled release event.

Delays

​

When making the appointment, you will be asked to supply an event starting time and a release time. We understand that times may slip a little and therefore will be prepared to release up to 10 minutes after the scheduled time. Depending upon the time of day, and our prior commitments, additional waiting time MAY be available at a cost of $50.00 for every additional half-hour or portion thereof. We often schedule more than one event per day in the busy season: we will not miss our scheduled appearance at another person’s event due to a delay in the current event. In addition, long delays may not be advisable from the bird’s standpoint – they are confined to small cages, and are quite hungry and thirsty.
